CCSMS Takes Region

Congrats to Senior, Quinn Dennie and Sophomore, Charlie Hider on placing in our region meet yesterday. The region recognized the top 5 runners. Charlie took home the 4th place spot and Quinn took it all with a 1st place finish. We will compete in the state qualifiers on November 4th at Newberry.

Welcome back to the 3rd Annual FB Hurricanes 5K! We are looking forward to a safe and fun race on Saturday, October 7th, 2023.
This is a mostly grass course and spikes may be worn, however there is a portion of the course that crosses the parking lot. A map will be sent out to the coaches of the teams.

8:30 JV Girls
9:15 V Girls
9:55 V Boys
10:30 JV Boys
Awards: will take place at the end of the event; if your team must leave, your awards will be mailed to or delivered to your school.
Team: 1st Place Team Trophy for Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys
Individuals: Medals for the Top 3 runners of each race
Cross Country Ranked #8 In SC 1A

Located at Pinewood Prep.
Boys be there by 7:30 am for warmup. And, I suggest be there earlier for parking reasons.

Good afternoon, We look forward to seeing everyone at the Pinewood Invitational next Saturday. Enclosed is the information for the Pinewood Invitational including meet information, facilities, and a general course map. Race times: Course is 2 laps: mostly trails and grass. Varsity Girls 8:00AM (Max of 10 runners) Varsity Boys 8:30AM (Max of 10 runners) Please only enter varsity runners who can run under 25 minutes for the varsity races. JV Boys 9:00AM. JV Girls 9:45AM Coaches meeting at 7:30AM. Medals for the top 10 runners in the varsity races. We again encourage spectators to travel together to help with parking. Please let your parents know not to park in the parking lot of the businesses off Butternut Road. (near the football field) There will be parking attendants to help with parking. We will have a t-shirt vendor on site for the event. Pinewood's trainer will be on site for the meet. She will be located near the building with the P logo near the starting line. We look forward to an exciting and safe cross country meet. I will send another update next week.
